Apps: iMotion & iStopmotion

Students use the apps to take photos of objects, recording small actions to create an animation video.

Examples: 4th graders use this app to model different land movements during earthquakes.

App: Flip-a-clip

Students draw into each frame of the app, slowly creating their own illustrated animations. It is easy for students to copy images onto multiple pages, highlight objects to move them, or include text.

Example: Students can use this app to create "thank you" videos.

Apps: iMovie

Students learn storyboarding techniques to create movies that explain and summarize their learning.

In kindergarten and 1st grade, students are practicing their fine motor skills. We designed shapes for the laser cutter to prepare lacing shapes for their classroom kits.
